SH Hospital began in the year 1992 as a multi-specialty hospital with the goal of providing basic medical services to the rural people of Palad, Manimooly. It is an offspring of the Sacred Heart Congregation Nirmala Province, Mananthavady. It has been a beacon of hope for many patients who cannot afford pricey treatments.

The Province has consistently insisted on the hospital’s continued survival despite its financial struggles, citing the area’s poverty as justification. We are more dedicated than ever to not only ensuring its survival but also to improving it in accordance with the times.
